Here are all the stats that I use for articles and evaluations of teams and players

2-pointers attempted- How many total 2-pointers a player or team attempted a game

2-pointers made- How many total 2-pointers a player or team made a game

2-point percentage- The percentage of 2 point field goal attempts that a player or team makes

3-pointers attempted- How many total 3-pointers a player or team attempted a game

3-pointers made- How many total 3-pointers a player or team made a game

3-point percentage- The percentage of 3 point field goal attempts that a player or team makes

Assists- How many assists a team or player notches per game

Assist Percentage- The percentage of teammate field goals a player assisted on while they were on the floor. For a team it is the percent of made field goals that were assisted

Assist to Turnover Ratio- A ratio of how many assists they average per game by how many turnovers they average per game

Assist to Usage Ratio- Assist rate compared to Usage rate. How often did a player get an assist given how much they had the ball

Adjusted Offensive Rating- Measures a team's points scored per 100 possessions adjusted for the strength of schedule

Adjusted Defensive rating- The number of points allowed per 100 possessions by a team adjusted for the strength of schedule

Blocks- How many blocks a team or player gets per game

Block Percentage- The percentage of a team's blocks that a player has while on the court. For a team it is the percent of opponents field goal attempts that were blocked

BPM- A metric used to evaluate a basketball player's performance and contribution to their team based on box score information

Catch and shoot 3-point percentage- The percentage of 3-point field goal attempts off the catch (no dribbles used or taken) that a player or team makes

Contested- The closest defender is 2-4 feet away from the shooter

Defensive BPM- A metric used to evaluate a basketball player's performance and contribution to their team based on defensive box score information

Defensive EPM- A combination of every defensive statistic

Defensive Rating- The number of points allowed per 100 possessions by a team. For a player, it is the number of points per 100 possessions that the team allows while that individual player is on the court

Defensive Rebounds- How many defensive rebounds a team or player grabs per game

Defensive Rebound Percentage- The percentage of available defensive rebounds a player or team obtains while on the floor

Defensive Strength of Schedule- measures the difficulty of a team's schedule based on the offensive ratings of that team's opponents

Defensive Win Shares- An estimate of the number of wins contributed by a player due to their defense

Deflections- How many deflections on defense a team or player gets per game

Effective Field Goal Percentage- Measures field goal percentage adjusting for made 3-point field goals being 1.5 times more valuable than made 2-point field goals.

EPM- EPM is an all-in-one player metric that estimates a player's contribution to the team in points per 100 possessions for individual seasons. It combines box score stats, tracking data, on/off numbers, advanced stats, and context to your role as a player.

Estimated Wins- An estimate based on EPM and total minutes played on how many wins a player contributes to by being on the court

Field Goals attempted- How many total shots a player or team attempted a game

Field Goals made- How many total shots a player or team made a game

Field Goal Percentage- The percentage of field goal attempts that a player makes

Fouls- How many fouls a team or player commits per game

Free Throw rate/frequency- The percentage of plays where a player or team shoots free throws as the result of a foul

Free throw percentage- The percentage of free throw attempts that a player or team has made

Free Throws attempted- How many total free throws a player or team attempted a game

Free Throws made- How many total free throws a player or team made a game

NET Rating- Measures a team's point differential per 100 possessions. On the player level, this statistic is the team's point differential per 100 possessions while they are on/off the court.

Off the catch- Field goal attempts off the catch (no dribbles used or taken) that a player or team takes or makes

Off the Court- How a team performs when a player is off the court

Offensive BPM- A metric used to evaluate a basketball player's performance and contribution to their team based on offensive box score information

Offensive EPM- A combination of every offensive statistic

Open- The closest defender is 6 or more feet away from the shooter

Opponent points per possession/Points per possession allowed- How many points an opponent scores per 100 or per possession

Pace- Possessions per 48 minutes. How fast a team plays

Per 36 Minutes- A calculated hypothetical stat that helps us gauge what a player would average if they played 36 minutes per game

Per 40 Minutes- A calculated hypothetical stat that helps us gauge what a player would average if they played 40 minutes per game

Percentile- A player or team's specific stat ranked against the rest of the league. (10 Possession minimum)

Player Efficiency Rating (PER)- A measurement of a player's productivity per minute

Plus Minus- The point differential when a player or team is on the floor

Points- How many points a team or player scores per game

Point Differential- Points scored per 100 possessions minus points allowed per 100 possessions

Points per possession- The number of points a player or team scores per possession

Points per 100 possessions- The number of points a player or team scores per 100 possessions

Points per shot attempt- Total points scored per 100 shot attempts (this also includes every trip to the free throw line)

Rebounds- How many rebounds a team or player grabs per game

Rebound Percentage- The percentage of available rebounds a player or team obtains while on the floor

Shooting frequency at the rim- The percentage of field goal attempts that are attempts at the rim

Shooting frequency in the mid-range- The percentage of field goal attempts that are mid-range shot attempts

Shooting frequency from 3- The percentage of field goal attempts that are 3-point attempts

Shooting percentage at the rim- The percentage of field goal attempts that a player makes at the rim

Shooting percentage from the mid-range- The percentage of field goal attempts that a player makes in the mid-range

Strength of Schedule- measures the difficulty of a team's schedule based on the win percentage of that team's opponents

Steals- How many steals a team or player gets per game

Steal Percentage- The percentage of a team's steals that a player has while on the court. For a team it is how many opponent offensive possessions in which the ball is stolen

True Shooting Percentage- A shooting percentage that is a combination of 2-point, 3-point, and free throw percentage all into one percentage

Turnovers- How many turnovers a team or player commits per game

Turnovers forced/Opponent Turnovers- How many turnovers a team or player forces per game

Turnover Percentage- Percentage of plays that end in a player or team's turnover

Usage Percentage- How much of a teams offense did the player use by shooting (including free throws), turning the ball over, or assisting

Very Contested/tight- The closest defender is 0-2 feet away from the shooter

VORP- An estimate of how many points a player contributes per 100 team possessions above a replacement-level player

Wide Open- The closest defender is 4-6 feet away from the shooter

Win Shares- An estimate of the number of wins contributed by a player

Win Shares per 48- An estimate of the number of wins contributed by a player per 48 minutes
